Our Story
Our story begins in the summer of 2020. While working together, we realized that we shared the same dream. That dream was to open a hang-out style of brewery, without a kitchen, that focused on beers made in house, an outdoor area, games, and would bring in a rotation of food trucks. That summer was spent touring surrounding breweries in Kansas, Colorado and Nebraska to decide exactly what we wanted our place to become.
Construction really began the following summer with us doing demolition ourselves May 2021 and contractors hit the ground running in June. We were very excited to have contractors that allowed us to help as much as possible throughout the process. Sweat equity was important to us, and now that we are here we are all extremely proud to have had a hand in helping build this place. We opened November 24, 2021 and the community has welcomed us with open arms. We are striving to be a safe place where everyone can feel welcome. A place for those who felt as if they didn't have a place in Garden City. We are excited to be here and cannot wait for memories to be made at 2010 E Schulman Ave. Cheers, Cody, Michael and Rance |
The Owners
CodyLike many homebrewers, brewing has been an expanding hobby of mine for several years. It started on my kitchen stove, moved into the garage, and finally into a barn. I also teach Psychology courses at GCCC, am the father of four incredible kids, and I am married to an extremely supportive and loving spouse. I am thrilled to be part of this project and help bring something I love to this town. It's a nice way to pass the time while I await my true calling of becoming a professional concert attendee!

MichaelOpening a brewery has been a dream of mine for over 10 years. I never thought it would actually come to fruition, but here we are! Whether it is brewing, accounting, HR, bartending, or mowing the lawn, I do a little bit of everything here at Hidden Trail. Beer has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember and I am humbled and honored to get to bring our vision to this community! I have two amazing children and a wonderful wife that allowed me to pursue my dream.

Ashley
Heavily influenced by Tony Soprano and 70s/80s punk rock. Powered by coffee and the high from KU winning The National Championship in 2022. Still waiting for a sponsorship by Vans. Must love dogs!
AllyForever a craft beer connoisseur and lover of all things (yes, including reptiles). I am known to laugh until I cry and can usually be found at the brewery petting dogs or trying my best to take care of Bri! I love spreading kindness and joy and being part of somewhere that treats everyone with open arms and respect. I love my brewery fam! #pimpinjoy

BriDark Necessities personified; surprisingly sweet underneath all of this dark humor. 5’2” with a 6’3” attitude and weighs less than a full keg. The only cat person amongst dog people. Winged eyeliner aficionado. Born too late to be the sixth member of The Runaways.

SheenaI am a mom of two awesome daughters who was looking for an entertaining way to pass the time on the days I don’t have my kids. Beertending at Hidden Trail has been my saving grace. I have a passion for craft beer, giving out free unsolicited advice, and helping people. My hobbies include baking cute animal cakes, daydreaming about owning fluffy cows, and attempting to keep my children alive!

StacyHidden Trail Brewing is a place that I am proud of and is very dear to my heart! My son, Cody, is one of the owners. Since I am a mom, I have officially become "The Brew Mom" for all HTB (employees and customers). I am a school nurse by day and a Brew Mom at night. Being the Brew Mom is a great honor for me! I love baking, watching Virgin River, and spending time with my grandkids!
